The lovely Liloo contacted me today to tell me about a
product that I couldn’t ignore. BeautyUK, a brand I don’t actually own anything
from... yet, has been collaborating with a lady named Sam to come up with
something rather special. Last year BeautyUK collaborated with participants to
come up with some polish ideas. Sam’s idea was a little collection of pink
polish that would help raise money to Cancer Research UK info can be found here.
Well her idea has finally become reality with a gorgeous
trio of pink polishes from Beauty UK being available now at Superdrug and
online here. The set costs £5.99 with £1 going to Breast Cancer Research.
I haven’t yet bought this but you can bet when I’m next in
Superdrug I will grab it. Most people reading this blog won’t know but cancer
charities are a cause close to my heart. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer at
the age of 17. I can speak from firsthand experience about the impact the
support and effort of charities can have on your life. So I need absolutely no
encouragement to pick these up. Three gorgeous polish shades and the knowledge
that you are doing something for charity? Sold!
I'll definitely have to check these out - both my grandparents had cancer (at the same time!) but they're in remission now, thank God!xx
