May Haul

I thought I would do a quick post on the items I’ve picked up since my last haul video in April. Some I’ve already reviewed but if you spot something you want to hear more about just let me know! I know it seems like I’ve bought a lot recently but I had some cash saved up after my no buy. That’s all gone now (clearly) so I’m going to be sticking to my £50 a month budget. Given that I hardly ever buy clothes etc I think that’s reasonable?

I bought the MUA BB Cream for £3 on offer (normally £4) from Superdrug. I’ve already reviewed it here

Lanolips 101 ointment has been on my radar forever. It’s basically a balm for lips, elbows, cuticles etc. There will be a review coming up shortly. I paid £11.22 for it from Boots.

Anatomicals Stop Cracking Up Lipbalm was a lot cheaper at £2.49 but I still think I prefer using the Lanolips! Again I will pop a review up soon.

Ah Dior. I treated myself to a bronzer from their Croisette summer collection. The box says £48 on it but at the till it scanned for just £34? I’m unsure which price is actually correct but I’m hoping it’s the £34! (A quick check on the Debenhams website says £34, phew!) This is the Dior Skin Nude Tan in the shade 002 Amber. The silver carnage packaging is unbelievably gorgeous. I will review it very soon! It comes with its own little mini kabuki which is ok but not brilliant.

I have already talked about the LUSH Gorilla perfume sample sets here I bought both sets and clearly have enough perfume samples to last a lifetime. I’m loving most of them except Lady Boy which has sadly ended up in the bin. I couldn’t stand it, neither could the boy. And the lid never fit properly so it was just stinking up the place. I will say that these don’t last very long on the skin at all so be prepared to keep topping them up! Each set was £19.95.

In TK Maxx I spotted these Eyeko polishes and couldn’t resist. I had been so close to ordering some so many times and then they went and discontinued them! I got Chi Chi Polish, Coral Polish and Lilac Polish for I think £4.99. Not bad I thought!

The UNE BB Cream Foundation has been reviewed here I really like the formula but the price? You only get 6g for £14.95! Ridiculously over priced it you ask me.

The NYC Bronzer in Sunny was an eBay bargain and cost around £3 including shipping! I’ve wanted it for ages but this particular product isn’t really sold in the UK. So far I’m liking it. It’s a fantastic matte bronzer for the price. There will be a review up soon.

Finally I picked up two of the Sleek Eau La La Liners in Pumpkin and Bullion. They cost around £3 (that’s what it says on the Sleek site but I seem to remember it being a couple of pence cheaper in Superdrug? I like them a lot but when I sharpened Pumpkin a great big chunk of lead fell out... twice. I’ve written the review but I’m still undecided as the whether I would buy more shades.

Wow that is more stuff that I had thought I’d bought...
