I will preface this review by saying what we all already know. Makeup is an individual thing. We all have different skin tones, skin types. What works for me might not work for you and vice versa. I knew before I even opened this that it wouldn’t be right for my combination skin. It promises to give a “radiant healthy glow”. I do not want glow...
The coverage is on the heavier side of medium, I didn’t feel I needed much in the way of concealer after applying this. The finish is a deal breaker for me though. I left this on for about 6 hours and it never set. It has a dewy finish to start with and by the time I took it off I was glowing like a beacon. Granted for the purposes of testing these little sachets I didn’t powder but most foundations do set eventually, this does not. Thanks to this I found that it transferred quite a lot onto my phone clothes etc.
After a couple of hours my oily nose had destroyed this. It went patchy as well as shiny. Yum.
Now if you have dry skin, like good coverage and a dewy finish this will probably work a bit better for you. I can’t say for sure of course because I don’t have that kind of skin! But if you like a matte finish or have oily skin I would say steer well clear of this. It’s just not made for us! If it sounds more like your cup of tea a bottle will cost you £8.99.
P.S. This sample is a million shades too dark for me. So I did all my housework looking like an Oompa Loompa last weekend. I hope you lot appreciate the things I do for this blog :p
