This is, I believe, the latest serum type product release
from Lancôme. It claims rather boldly to tackle wrinkles, pores and unevenness.
Luckily I don’t have much in the way of wrinkles or uneven skin tone to deal
with but pores I got. Huge great big ones too. Urban legend has it that on a
clear night you can see them from the moon.
I take back what I said about Lancôme Genefique. This is the
most hydrating serum I have used to date. I have been over doing it a little
with the clay masks lately thanks to the afore mentioned pores being very congested
and as a result I had a few dry patches between my brows and on my cheeks. This
has fixed them. Result!
And yet I’m not sold on it. My pores look the same as they
always have and always will do. My skin looks no more even than it did before.
I can’t pass judgement on wrinkles obviously... And then they go and whack in a
fairly strong fragrance too. It’s a little bit reminiscent of cucumber but
really quite noticeable. If you have dry skin, £57 for 30ml is in your budget
and you don’t mind strong fragrances you might like this. If you’re expecting a
miracle cure for enlarged pores I wouldn’t hold my breath.
I am painfully aware that I don’t really have the sort of
skin this is aimed at (minus the pores). If you’ve tried this before please do
let me know what you thought of it in the comments!

I have this! Well, a deluxe sample size. I like it, but I'm not in need of it.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what age I'm supposed to start seeing the benefit of these sorts of serums but thus far I'm not in need of it either haha x
DeleteI've tried this a couple of times, but I didn't see any difference in my skin, so didn't bother getting the full size one. I use Genifique every day and I love that, so will stick with it.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, the Genefique works for you so why stray! I prefered the packaging of the Genefique. I do think this was a touch more moisturising but that's it x
DeleteI notice nothing with most Lancome skin care. It's not worth the money imo for any of it!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. With the exception of the Bifacil eye makeup remover. But then my Botanics eye makeup remover is kind of a dupe and is much much cheaper... x
Deletenice idea.. thanks for sharing...
