Sample Sunday – FAB Face Cleanser

FAB (or First Aid Beauty) is available at Boots although I received this sample in a Glossy Box. The full size 141.7ml tube costs around £13. This is marketed as a super gentle cleanser aimed at sensitive skin. It is paraben, colorant and fragrance which is all very good news for my fussy skin.

I personally think the packaging is very cute. The cleanser itself has a lot of slip and glides easily across the skin. You simply massage it into damp skin and wash it off with a soft face cloth. It does a good job of taking off my face makeup (a separate remover will be required for eye makeup though).

This leaves my skin feeling clean but soft. It isn’t at harsh or stripping, I actually find it to be quite soothing on my skin. If you are wearing a properly heavy duty foundation (e.g. Revlon Colorstay) you might find that you need to go back and cleanse again but for most foundations this does the trick nicely. The lack of fragrance is a huge bonus for me and next time my skin decides it’s going to freak out about something I will definitely be searching the shelves of y nearest Boots for this! x

  1. I love the packaging! I like that this is fragrance free too, always help with irritation.
