NYX Lipliner Pencils in 839 Dolly Pink and 838 Purple Rain

Following my revelation with MAC Redd I have actually been wearing lipliners with bright lippies. Well, I did until mid Jan when the braces put pay to that... (should clarify, I'm getting braces soon and the thought of drawing attention to my mouth is not an appealing prospect). Any way I wanted to get this review up as I really do like these little liners and at just £3 each (I bought mine from Love-Makeup ) They are a bit of a bargain too!

Dolly Pink is a bright pink which is almost pastel but not pale or washed out. Purple rain is a pinky fuchsia purple. There is a bit of a texture difference with Dolly Pink being a little softer and creamier. Both are slightly softer than the MAC pencil I own. Once on they are a little drying on their own but they stick like glue to your lips.

You get 1g of product in the pencil. These aren’t crumbly or fragile whilst being sharpened so there is minimal product wastage. I like that the ends are colour coded too so you can see what you’re looking for easily in your collection. All in all I really like these pencils. I just need to get the courage to wear bright lipsticks back! X
