Isn’t it lovely when the hype turns out to be right?

A thousand and one blogs/ youtubers have talked about this product. The Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer has been so hyped up that I deliberately didn’t buy it fearing that as usual I’d have built it up in my mind to be better than it possibly could be and it would disappoint. Thankfully this time I was wrong, it’s fabulous. A mere £4.19 and I swear down this is the best under eye concealer I currently own.

It’s a typical liquid concealer in a tube with a wand applicator. The formula is quite thick though. This is really quite opaque. Recently I haven’t been getting as much sleep as I really need and this has been a lifesaver. It covers well yet never ever sinks into those irritating fine lines. The trick, as with most under eye concealers, is use less than you think you need. You really do need the tiniest amount. It lasts all day, it’s creamy, it is just generally lovely.

There is only one down side and that is the shade range. 4 shades will not cater for everyone, it just won’t. I use the palest shade (1 Fair) and whilst it is a good match for me I know plenty of people will struggle and frankly that’s just not on. It’s a wonderful product Collection 2000 so please make it available for everyone! Oh and the writing on the packaging lasts roughly 15 seconds before rubbing off but for the price I will live with that. I do not say this lightly when I say I prefer this to my MAC Select Moisture cover (the coverage on this is better) and my Dior Skin Nude (this is less cakey and lasts better) as I like both of those products a great deal. Fab! X

  1. I love this concealer too! Although I must say, the writing hasn't rubbed off of mine like it has everyone else's... Strange. Anyway, it is AWESOME.

  4. I haven't tried this, I have the other Collection 2000 concealer (Illuminating Touch) which is also fab. I don't know, maybe it has a lighter coverage, but it's still really good. (But I don't actually know what the difference is, since I've not tried this.) x

  9. This is my favourite concealer! I bought it on a trip to London in May and I'm sad that I'm running out of it, because it's not available in Greece. Amazing product!
