A-Z Of Me

I saw this on Beauty Swot and loved the idea of it. Sometimes it can be a little hard to see the person behind the blog, it’s nice to know a little more about the person who’s rambling what you are reading!

A - Age – 24 going on 74 I think. I’m getting old before my time!

B - Best holiday – The final big family holiday before we all moved away. A week in Whistler (Canada), the Christmas in Vancouver and the New Year in Montreal. Fabulous.

C - Chores you hate – Sorting the cat litter. Ew.

D - Dogs – I always grew up with dogs and love them although I don’t currently have one.

E - Essential start to your day – COFFEE. I need two cups before I regain the power of speech.

F - Favourite colour – I don’t really have one. I suppose burgundy and teal would be the colours I gravitate towards most.

G - Gold or silver – Most of my real (i.e. not costume jewellery) is white gold but both work well on my skintone.

H - Height – I’m 5;6 which is pretty average although I do have the dubious accolade of being the shortest person in my entire extended family, Even my Gran is taller!

I - Instruments you play – As a child I played piano and oboe. These days I just play the fool (oh yeah, dad joke).

J - Job title – I’m not even sure it makes sense so I won’t bother with this. It’s a bit of a non job title.  


K - Kids – None.


L - Live – I’ve lived in various places in England but I was born in, and currently live in, Glasgow.

M - Mother's name – Mum.

N - Nickname – I can think of a few but none are polite.  

O - Overnight hospital stays – Three as a teenager. I was a poorly wee soul.

P - Pet Peeves – People with dry skin on their hands rubbing them together makes me gag. And my husband has a delightful habit of putting meat on a plate to defrost in the fridge, getting it out to cook then putting the plate back in the fridge. WHY?!

Q - Quote from a film – C**********************t. I’ll give you a clue, Ryan Reynolds says it in one of the blade films.

R - Right or left handed – Right.

S - Siblings – One sister and two brothers.

T - Time you wake up – 06:00 most days unfortunately.

U - Underwear – I find it helps.

V - Vegetable you hate – Not technically a vegetable but I cannot and will not eat mushrooms. Even the colour of them looks sad.

W - What makes you run late – My husband.

X - X-rays you've had – Lots!

Y - Yummy food you make – I cook from scratch every day as I have a wheat allergy. I can cook pretty well but I can’t bake for toffee. I haven’t tried making toffee though...

Z - Zoo animal – Penguins. They are the shit.
