Coral Reef is a smooth pigmented orange toned coral. The colour shows up fairly well on my lips and stays put as long as you could expect a gloss to stay put. Both of these glosses have a bit of a sickly sweet scent to them but after a couple of minutes I don’t notice it anymore. The texture is nice and I don’t find it overly sticky. I wore it at work yesterday and even got a couple of compliments!

Pink After Glow is a totally different critter. I do like it, just not as much as Coral Reef. The colour is more sheer and pink and there are big ‘ol chunks of sparkle in it. The glitter is really quite gritty so you can definitely feel it on your lips. You wouldn’t want to kiss anyone wearing this! The glitter also means this is more of a night time shade for me. I’m still glad I bought it, I just wish the texture was smoother.
So what do you prefer? Lip stick or glosses in the summer?
I've been eyeing up these glosses for ages, there are so many beautiful colours!

ReplyDeleteI just got Coral reef for myself today and i am loving it. I was actually getting chane;'s genie glossimer but somehow ended up at boots and thought should try genie's known dupe i.e this coral reef and omg it was the exact same color, atleast on my lips it was cuz i was wearing genie and i put coral reef on the other lip and i cudnt tell the difference. And this was 1/4th price of chanel.
ReplyDeleteI love chanel and im all for spending the money on it cuz its worth it but this time around i was not wanting to spend that much money and voila i got lucky cuz not only did i save money but i still cnt tell the difference between these two colors.
